How did I spend my life, professionally meaning?
Real Estate Consultant @ Solvia Dénia – October 2023
In my role as a Sales Consultant at Solvia Dénia since October 2023, I have excelled in the acquisition and sale of real estate properties. My approach goes beyond the conventional, conducting high-quality photography and video with professional equipment. I use advanced Photoshop skills to enhance the visual presentation of properties. Additionally, I write detailed descriptions in English, German, and Spanish to improve international visibility.
My experience includes accurate property valuation according to the current market and the effective preparation of listings using the real estate CRM. I manage clients comprehensively, from conducting visits to meticulous follow-up on offers.

Since April 2023, I have expanded my skills as a real estate photographer, specializing in the Costa Blanca. I have state-of-the-art equipment that includes a powerful full-frame camera and a professional 14-30 wide-angle lens. My expertise extends to the use of a gimbal stabilizer and multiple lighting techniques with off-camera flashes.

Art Fotografic – Since 2004
Now called a startup and some time ago a business or an adventure, owner is called CEO but also self-employed without holidays.
By 2004 I noticed there were only a few options for professional photographers to design an album, this albums were starting to be trendy and it was a very tedious work mainly done in Photoshop. Joining my computer experience and photography knowledge I developed an application to help photographers allowing them to easily and fast design albums but still inside Photoshop, and Album DS was born.
And then came Auto Class Composite to design class composites in a breeze and later Album TD, Album XS and others.
And, what I did this years?
- Marketing, I introduced new products in the market, a very specific market and difficult to reach because it overrides the one for hobby photographers. Exponentially increasing billing for several years now Album DS is a reference on album design software.
- Positioning, I got to set my webs on first organic search places (that means without paying for adverts). And not only in Spain, also USA, Australia and many European countries which is a success on SEO strategies.
- Advertising and promoting campaigns in social networks and search engines: Facebook, Twitter, Adwords, etc. but also magazines and mailing. I woke up the interest of many photographers and my software become used in more than 75 countries, from New Zealand to Iceland.
And I got awarded Hot One by the Professional Photographers Association of America for the best album design software.
The best of running a business is that you have to recycle your own at each moment, you have to learn and change but always with well defined goals. You have to become persistent and adapt at same time.

And before?
Tesmaco, S.A. – From 1989 to 2003
Good company, we made machinery for the automotive industry like welding and assembly lines.
Child company of the german F.F.T. GmbH , we were slightly more than 100 employees. I was IT responsible, just for the years when computers were starting to be used on companies.
What I did on this company?
- Administrative tasks, alongside sales department for offer’s calculation, and this included cost analysis and sending reports to mother company in Germany.
- Implant and adapt IT systems and improve departments organisation, again reporting to mother company. Lot of dossiers and lot of german.
- Lowering workload on several departments, just the years starting to computerise everything; if a machine can do it and does it faster then better.
- Programming the whole production and business software for the company, we got to lower costs and increase competitiveness.
And what happened?
I grew up with the company, together, but a crisis came for the sector and we couldn’t survive, even while being competitive. Company closed down.
On this times valuable employees signed permanent contract after 15 days and if you remain valuable you could retire on the same company.
Porcelanas Sarset, S.L. – From 1988 to 1989
A small company creating decorative porcelain figures, coffee services, etc.
I started just like all starts in life, as labourer, and in a short while I was managing a 10 persons team, improving production quality and efficiency.
My skills
Knowledge
- High school / COU. Some years later I started IT Engineering but work and life were stronger, and I had the feeling I wasn’t learning much to be used on real life.
- Office: Excel and Word, Databases, SQL: advanced level. Mac OS X and Windows: advanced user.
- Photography and Photoshop. I started developing my own films in a darkroom and soon I was editing in Photoshop. I love shooting pictures.
- Web publishing tools: WordPress, Prestashop, Joomla. All you need for eCommerce and having Internet presence, even creating PHP plugins and ad hoc modifications.
- Programming in Xojo for Mac & Windows, Java, PHP, VBasic, Delphi, C, Javascript.
Reach, convince and respond.
It’s not enough to be Caesar to arrive and conquer, now you have to convince and respond for your products and your attitude. You have to keep a very high level of responsibility and customer care, being empathic and looking for what he needs; you have to know each inch of your product and find out how it can help him, not you.
And I believe I have learned how to do it, without quackery. Nothing like speaking his own language, or one he understands well, that’s essential.
Something more you should know?
B drivers license, car and scooter just in case I have to tour the streets.
I’m boat skipper since many years ago, PER for motor and sailboat. And I really enjoy spending some time sailing on our beautiful coast, nothing like getting salt in your face to feel good.
And personally?
I love things well done, with care. I’m from 66 and belong to generation X.
The beauty of a classic car, a motorcycle or a bicycle from the 80’s, 70’s or earlier; getting dirty hands while disassembling each piece, knowing why they are still running like the first day.
Jazz, an evening with Miles Davis or the great Blues, Rock and Soul stars, classics, without stridencies, if possible in vinyl and looking how the waves are caressing the sand in our strands.
One of the values I most admire is effort and specially effort to know. I’m proud to say I’m a “Jack of all trades“, I adapt myself, learn, and having a manual it’s easy to land on the moon (ok, not exactly there but near).
On my free time I enjoy sailing, taking pictures and writing; may be not exactly in this order.
